The trees remain

The birds remain

The trees of today are martyrs too

The birds of today are martyrs too

The trees of today are our living ancestors

They remain on this earth alongside the breathing humans

Alongside the humans taking their last breath

Let us gather together inside of this tree

And know that we will remain
